
About the Course
You have a baby/child/tween/teenager (or a combination). Regardless of which path you took to become a mother, you’ve probably realised by now, that the cliché of, “You can never know what it is like until you experience it” could have been designed for this life-changing event.
As a mum of three boys, I will start by saying that I am in no way discounting the positive aspects of motherhood…on the contrary. These are THE most IMPORTANT and actually the TRUEST elements of all.
However, you wouldn’t be looking at this page if these were the ONLY things you were experiencing. So, let’s focus on the reasons you ARE here.
Whether you instantly bond with your child or this attachment is a struggle, let’s be honest, being a mum can be crap. It turns your life inside out, changing everything. Is it any wonder most of us struggle with it at some point? Question ourselves? Punish Ourselves? Lose Ourselves? And yet much of the time, we just accept it. Accept that this is now how things are. Those little (or big) lives we nurture are the most important things on the planet, they come first. We discount the importance of our own emotions, our own wellbeing, and it’s a sacrifice we do without question.
Occasionally we “dare” to do something for ourselves, to think about how unhappy we are about something, but then comes the joy that is “Mum Guilt!”
It can be an endless cycle.
The truth is, this is all a false concept, it can actually be so different. But the focus needs to be brought back to YOU and YOUR wellbeing, everything else will naturally follow. This is the work we will do together through the Inside-Out Programme, enabling you to not just become the mother you would like to be, but to become the person you are meant to be!
Motherhood is only one amazing facet of who you are, let’s rediscover all those other parts, raise that confidence, lower that anxiety and wake up your true self and all the possibilities that go with that.
